The Finance and Planning Committee consists of the Rector, all Deans, one member from Academic Council, Director Planning, University Grants Commission, and Registrar.

The functions of the Finance and Planning Committee shall be to:

1. Prepare the annual statement of accounts and propose annual budget estimates and advise the Board thereon
2. Review periodically the financial position of the University
3. Advise the Board on all matters relating to finance, investments and accounts of the University
4. Perform such other functions as may be prescribed by Statutes
