SCHOLARSHIP POLICY - FALL 2020

Scholarship Policy for intake Fall 2020 is as under:-

A. SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

1. QUAID-E-AZAM SCHOLARSHIP:

Quaid-e-Azam Scholarship will be awarded to the applicants at the time of admission as under:

2. HUMA ALUMNI SCHOLARSHIP:

Huma Alumni Scholarship (named after the first student registered in TUF) will be awarded as under:

3. KINSHIP SCHOLARSHIP:

The kin of alumni/ae and existing participants (brother, sister, husband, wife, son and daughter) will be awarded kinship scholarship as under:

4. JAHANGIR KHAN SCHOLARSHIP:

Outstanding sportsmen/ women having national color will be awarded Jahangir Khan Scholarship (named after World # 1 professional squash player from Pakistan) as under:

5. SIR SYED SCHOLARSHIP:

Special/ disabled applicants will be awarded Sir Syed Scholarship as under:

6. ARFA KARIM SCHOLARSHIP:

Waiver of 10% in tuition fee as Arfa Karim Scholarship (named after youngest microsoft certified professional) will be awarded to the student qualifying intermediate from University College for Women or A level from University Cambridge School.

7. NOORI SCHOLARSHIP:

100% waiver in degree fee as Noori Scholarship (named after Sahibzada Ata-ul Mustafa Noori, a religious scholar and philanthropist) will be awarded to the students from SOS village.

B. MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS:

1. FATIMA SCHOLARSHIP:

Rs 20,000 shall be awarded to the student securing more than 90% marks in the semester result.

2. ZAINAB SCHOLARSHIP:

Rs 15,000 shall be awarded to the student who secure 87.5% to 89.99% marks in the semester result.

3. RAFIQ SCHOLARSHIP:

Rs 10,000 shall be awarded to the student securing 85% to 87.49% marks in the semester result.

RULES GOVERNING SCHOLARSHIPS:

a. Scholarship will be paid to supplement tuition fee only. All other charges (where applicable) will be paid by the student.

b. A student will be eligible for one scholarship only. In case a student is eligible for two or more scholarships, the one with highest amount will be awarded and the rest will be withdrawn.

c. It is mandatory for every scholarship holder to finish his/ her enrolled program in the prescribed minimum duration of the program. No extension of award will be provided beyond the standard duration of the course/degree.

d. Fatima, Zainab & Rafiq scholarships will be awarded to as many as 10% of the size of the class.

e. Award of scholarship will be withdrawn/

i. Attendance falls below 75%.

ii. The GPA/CGPA falls below the prescribed limit as mentioned in each clause.

iii. The student gets "F" grade in any subject.

iv. If student is involved in any disciplinary case i.e involvement in political, unethical and anti state activities etc.

f. The restrictions mentioned in clause "e (i) & (ii)" will be removed as soon as the student improves in the forthcoming semester.

g. On the recommendation of committee, competent authority will approve the continuation/ reduction in scholarship on case to case basis (when required).
