All Heads of Departments notify Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) of their relevant Departments under intimation to office
of Registrar. The recommendations of
CRC will be considered by the BOS, Faculty Board and thereafter BASR(in case of postgraduate programs) and Academic Council.
The functions of the Curriculum Review Committee:
- Review and Approval for new courses, programs, and modifications to existing ones
- Curriculum Assessment to ensure it meets the current educational standards, industry demands, and societal needs
- Mapping of PEOs and PLOs that the curriculum aligns with national accreditation standards, professional certification requirements, and industry needs
- Recommendations for Improvement to course content, teaching methods, and assessment strategies
- Resource Allocation of new programs or courses
- Stakeholder Communication in the curriculum development and review process
- Monitoring Trends of educational, technological advancements, and changes in industry practices is essential for maintaining a relevant and forward-looking curriculum
- Policy Development related to curriculum design and review processes.
- Ensuring Equity and Inclusion to ensure that the curriculum promotes equity and inclusion.
