STATUTORY BODIES

BOARD OF STUDIES

All Heads of Departments constitute Board of Studies of their respective Departments and forward nominations to Registrar Office, for issuance of notification.

The functions of the Board of Studies:

  1. To advice authorities on all academic matters connected with instructions, research and examination in the programs offered by the Department concerned
  2. To propose curricula and syllabi for all degree, diploma certificate offered by the Department concerned
  3. To suggest a panel of names of paper setters and examiners in the program(s) offered by the Department
  4. Ensure quality assurance, development of degree programs, teaching activities and follow-up on evaluations of degree programs and teaching activities
  5. Preparation of draft academic regulations and amendments thereto
  6. Processing applications for credit transfers, including credits transferred in advance, as well as for exemptions
  7. To perform such other functions as may be prescribed by regulations
