All Heads of Departments constitute Board of Studies of their respective Departments and forward nominations to Registrar Office, for issuance of notification.
The functions of the Board of Studies:
- To advice authorities on all academic matters connected with instructions, research and examination in the programs offered by the Department concerned
- To propose curricula and syllabi for all degree, diploma certificate offered by the Department concerned
- To suggest a panel of names of paper setters and examiners in the program(s) offered by the Department
- Ensure quality assurance, development of degree programs, teaching activities and follow-up on evaluations of degree programs and teaching activities
- Preparation of draft academic regulations and amendments thereto
- Processing applications for credit transfers, including credits transferred in advance, as well as for exemptions
- To perform such other functions as may be prescribed by regulations
