Dr Zahida Maqbool’s distinguished journey spans over two decades of meaningful contributions to higher education leadership, strategic management, and corporate governance. As Registrar, she has demonstrated strong expertise in academic governance, examinations, scholarships, institutional compliance, and administrative strategy. Her leadership has been pivotal in strengthening institutional systems, ensuring alignment with HEC, PHEC, and other accreditation frameworks.
Beyond her core administrative responsibilities, Dr Zahida serves as Secretary of Madinah Foundation, where she oversees impactful philanthropic initiatives, including mass marriage programs and need-based scholarship schemes for underserved communities. Her forward-looking initiatives include the establishment of the EM-Power Office for Women Welfare and Development alongside the founding of ALPHA TUF for civic engagement. Additionally, she has led high-level international academic delegations to Dubai and the EURIE Summits in Türkiye across 2024 and 2026, reflecting her sustained commitment to institutional excellence, women's empowerment, social responsibility, and global academic engagement.
Prior to her current role, Dr Zahida served in key administrative positions, including Controller of Examinations and Focal Person for the Prime Minister’s Honohaar Scholarship Program. She has also contributed significantly to academic quality enhancement, supporting institutional visibility in global rankings such as QS Asia, Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, and UI GreenMetric. Dr Zahida has successfully envisioned and launched the HAVVA initiative, an empowering multi-dimensional platform at TUF that enables female students to express talent, challenge societal norms, and celebrate their journeys in leadership.
