HISTORY

The University of Faisalabad (TUF), a hallmark of academic excellence and community service, was founded in 2002 by the philanthropic Madinah Foundation—a non-profit organization established by the late Haji Muhammad Saleem to uplift society through education, healthcare, and social development. The Foundation's healthcare vision materialized with the inauguration of Madinah Medical Center in 2002, which began as a center for compassionate care and quickly evolved into a hub for cutting-edge medical services with the name of Madinah Teaching Hospital (MTH) which is ISO-certified 650-bedded hospital. Built on these foundations of service, TUF emerged as a center for academic innovation, launching its Health Sciences Campus in 2002, followed by the Engineering Campus in 2007, and the Sub-Campus in Lahore in 2018. In a significant leap forward, Jinnah Campus was established in 2024, marking a new chapter of growth and opportunity. Over the years, TUF has proudly graduated 11+ batches across diverse disciplines, empowering thousands of professionals who are making meaningful contributions both nationally and internationally. With consistent top-tier rankings in THE Impact Rankings and UI GreenMetric, TUF continues to thrive as a dynamic institution dedicated to quality education, research, healthcare, and social progress.
