The University of Faisalabad (TUF) continues its impressive ascent as a globally recognized institution, distinguished by its unwavering commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and social responsibility. In 2025, TUF proudly secured its position among the world’s top institutions in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), achieving an impressive 197ᵗʰ global rank. In category-wise rankings, TUF attained 4ᵗʰ position globally in both Visionary Leadership and Ethics Spirit, and 16ᵗʰ worldwide in Ethics & Integrity—a reflection of the university’s principled leadership and strong moral foundation. In addition, TUF was named a finalist in the Green Gown Awards 2025 in two impactful categories: Climate Action and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Sustainability. Affirming its impact, TUF ranked among the Top 400 universities worldwide in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025, placed within the 401–600 band out of 2,526 institutions from 130 countries. Nationally, TUF stood 4ᵗʰ among 127 Pakistani universities, highlighting its sustained dedication to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).This builds upon previous achievements: in 2024, TUF was ranked 218ᵗʰ globally by WURI, placed in the 410–600 band of THE Impact Rankings, and secured the 356ᵗʰ global position in the UI GreenMetric Rankings, where it stood 11ᵗʰ overall and 6ᵗʰ among private universities in Pakistan. In 2023, TUF was included among the Top 500 universities worldwide in THE Impact Rankings, attaining 43ʳᵈ for Quality Education (SDG 4) and 62ⁿᵈ for Zero Hunger (SDG 2). It was also named among the Top 131 universities in South Asia by QS Rankings and earned the prestigious International Green Gown Award in the “Student Engagement” category. In 2022, TUF was ranked 76ᵗʰ globally for Quality Education (SDG 4) and shortlisted for “Workplace of the Year” by Awards Asia, a testament to its nurturing academic and professional environment. Its repeated recognition through the Corporate Social Responsibility Awards (2019–2022) for contributions to women’s welfare, empowerment, and development further underscores its holistic and inclusive vision for progress.
