1. When admission in TUF will be carried out? The admission will be offered between June to October.
2. How can I apply for admission? You can apply for admission through online admission portal at admission.tuf.edu.pk/
3. Is there any processing fee of application forms? There is no processing fee at the time of applying for admissions.
4. Do I need to create the TUF online account? Yes, you are required to create online account at admission portal admission.tuf.edu.pk/ with valid email ID.
5. What are the steps, I should use to fill online application form? Click at admission.tuf.edu.pk for guidelines to fill the online application form.
6. How do I make sure that I can registered with TUF? You will receive a registration confirmation email at your email ID. In case you have not received email within few minutes of registration then please check your spam/junk folder or write to us as [email protected]
7. Can I apply more than one-degree program? Yes, you can apply in three-degree programs. Simultaneously in order of preference. The candidate advised to select the degree program according to their qualification and minimum eligibility criteria at their own before submitting the online application.
8. How do I know if my admission requirements are not complete? You will be informed about the deficiencies in the admission application via email, if any.
9. If I submit my documents late, will it reject my application? It is in your least interest to apply and submit all of the required documents in time .Please make sure to review the deadline of documents submission.
10. Can I edit my application after submission? You cannot change any information after you have submitted application. It is advised to review all the information thoroughly before Final Submission.

12. How do I get my application status? When the application is submitted you will receive an email notifying that your application has been successfully submitted.
13. Is there any age limit for undergraduate/postgraduate admission?
  • Undergraduate

    Age limit for admission in undergraduate program is maximum 22 years.

  • Postgraduate

    Age limit for admission in postgraduate program is maximum 35 years.

    However, on the recommendation of the Admission Committee, the Rector may approve to relax the upper age limit (where required) on a case-to-case basis.

14. Is the hostel facility available in TUF? The TUF provides several facilities to staff and students which include health, hostel, transport, Library, sports, and various others. There are 10 hostels including four separate hostels for male students
15. How can I check eligibility for a program? You can check the eligibility for a program from the Website www.tuf.edu.pk before applying in an offered program.
16. I have sixteen years of education with second class/division. Am I eligible for admission into the MPhil/MS program? Provision of admission in MPhil/MS program based on first/second/third division is prerogative of University/Institution. Institutions are required to follow minimum requirements of the HEC and they may stringent these criteria at their own.
17. I have qualified GAT General with 50% and have sixteen years of education but University is denying admission on the pretext that qualifying score should be 60%? The HEC requires that scholars should pass the NTS GAT test with a minimum 50% score but Universities can ask for higher scores as per their policies
18. Does TUF offer any degree on the weekend? MS/MPhil and PhD programs are weekend programs. All other degree program is offered during regular week days for Undergraduate programs.
19. Can candidates of FSc Pre-Medical / equivalent qualification apply for BS Computer Science? Yes, but they have to study deficient Mathematics courses in first two semesters of enrollment in the program.
20. How many PhD scholars one professor/supervisor can supervise? One supervisor can supervise five PhD Scholars which can be increased to eight under special circumstances in certain teaching departments subject to prior approval of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
