WORLD DIABETES DAY | ACCESS TO DIABETES CARE

Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, TUF conducted an awareness seminar to observe World's Diabetes Day on November 14, 2021.

Diabetes is a chronic (long-lasting) health condition that affects how your body turns food into energy. The guest speaker was Prof Dr Mirza Akmal Shareef, HoD Medicine, Madinah Teaching Hospital. He threw light on the prognosis of diabetes along with it's symptoms and management. Dietary management in diabetes was discussed by the Guest speaker. Students of Nutrition and Dietetics showed their presence in this informative seminar.
