Sustainable Cities and Communities
The University of Faisalabad has once again demonstrated its strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship by securing remarkable positions in UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025. This year’s rankings evaluated 1,745 institutions from 105 countries, highlighting TUF’s continued progress in global sustainability standards. In the national landscape, TUF achieved an impressive 10th position among 107 Pakistani universities, reaffirming its leadership in promoting eco-friendly policies, sustainable infrastructure, and green campus initiatives. Regionally, TUF earned the 184th rank in Asia, reflecting its expanding footprint and growing recognition across the continent for sustainability-driven academic excellence. On the global scale, TUF secured 325th position worldwide, marking another significant milestone in its pursuit of environmental responsibility and green innovation. These achievements underscore TUF’s unwavering dedication to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrating sustainability into campus operations, research, and community engagement.
