Good Health and Well-being
The Department of Pharmacy, The University of Faisalabad, successfully organized a Poster Competition on “Beyond the Beaker: Green Innovation in Pharmaceutical Chemistry” on April 15, 2026. The event was coordinated by faculty members Hina Sharif and Moazzama Akbar.
Students from 6th and 10th semesters enthusiastically participated under the subjects Pharmaceutical Analysis and Medicinal Chemistry, presenting innovative ideas focused on sustainable and eco-friendly advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.
The competition was evaluated by a distinguished panel including Dr. Sadia Rafique (HOD), Dr. Sana Shahzad (Coordinator), Dr. Sana Javed, and Dr. Nyla Ajaz. Certificates for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions were awarded to the winners in recognition of their outstanding efforts and creativity.
The event highlighted the commitment of students and faculty towards promoting green chemistry, environmental responsibility, and innovative thinking for a sustainable future. Through initiatives such as this, the Department of Pharmacy continues to encourage academic excellence, research-driven learning, and sustainable advancements in pharmaceutical sciences.
