Study Tour to EILYA Care Home Enhanced Students’ Practical Learning with Special Children

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences conducted a study tour for Semester-III students to EILYA Care Home on October 21, 2025. The visit aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and understanding of working with special children, focusing on the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach in rehabilitation.

During the visit, students observed the environment and rehabilitation practices implemented at EILYA Care Foundation and learned about various educational and therapeutic interventions designed for children with physical and mental disabilities. The experience encouraged empathy, inclusivity, and professional growth among the students.

This initiative was aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) — Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being and Goal 4: Quality Education, promoting both health awareness and inclusive learning for all.
