Al-Isra wal-Miraj

The Department of Islamic Studies at The University of Faisalabad organized a seminar on Al-Isra wal-Miraj in connection with Shab-e-Miraj, reflecting on the spiritual significance and timeless lessons of this sacred event in Islamic history.

The program began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, setting a solemn and reverent tone. Distinguished guest speaker Dr Tahira Inam, renowned writer, poetess and Assistant Professor at Government Graduate College for Women, Faisalabad, delivered an inspiring address. She highlighted the miraculous journey of Isra’ and Miraj, emphasizing its moral, spiritual and practical guidance for both personal and communal life.

The seminar also featured a heartfelt Naat Rasool Pak (ﷺ) presented by Ms Ayesha Batool, famous Naat Khawan, accompanied by TUF students. A Manqabat followed, warmly received by the audience, further enriching the spiritual atmosphere.

The gathering concluded with a collective Dua, seeking peace, guidance and prosperity for the nation and the university community. The event served as a profound reminder of the enduring relevance of Shab-e-Miraj, encouraging participants to embody its teachings in their daily lives.
