Commemorative Ceremony Held at TUF on Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Ali (A.S.)

The University of Faisalabad organized a spiritually enriching and intellectually stimulating event to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Ali (A.S), celebrating his timeless legacy of wisdom, courage and moral integrity. A well-structured Essay Writing Competition and an inspiring Mehfil Mushaira were integral parts of the event, encouraging students to reflect creatively on the multifaceted personality of Hazrat Ali (A.S).

The Chief Guest, Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, delivered an insightful address highlighting the life and legacy of the great companion of Holy Prophet (SAW), with special emphasis on his bravery, honesty, justice, and unparalleled knowledge. The Guest Speaker, Dr Riaz Majeed, Head, Department of Urdu, eloquently shed light on the spiritual, intellectual, and ethical dimensions of the great Caliph of Islam, portraying him as a universal model of leadership and wisdom. Renowned poets Major (Retd) Abid Shah, Mr Ghulam Fareed, Ms Amna Roshni Risha, and Dr Furqan Ali Shah captivated the audience with profound poetic tributes. The judges meticulously evaluated students’ essays, followed by results announcement and certificate distribution among participants and judges. The event concluded with a collective Dua, marking a successful blend of scholarship, devotion, and literary excellence.
