Pinktober at TUF: Where Creativity Meets Breast Cancer Awareness

In a powerful display of creativity and social responsibility, The University of Faisalabad (TUF) marked the conclusion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a large-scale poster exhibition.

Titled “Pinktober,” the event was a collaborative initiative led by the Department of Design and Interiors in partnership with the Art and Design Society. The campaign transformed the corridors of the New Building into a vibrant gallery of hope, awareness, and advocacy, as TUF’s walls turned pink in support of the cause.

While organized by the design wing, the true strength of the event lay in its inclusivity. Students from various Allied Health Departments stepped away from their clinical laboratories to engage creatively using paintbrushes and digital design tools. This interdisciplinary collaboration ensured that the posters were not only visually compelling but also medically accurate and informative, reinforcing the message of early detection and awareness.
