SEMINAR “WOMEN EMPOWERMENT”

A seminar captioned "Women Empowerment" was conducted under the supervision of Dr Arshia Hashmi, Head department of Management Studies in Health Sciences wing on February 4, 2022. Mr Muhammad Akbar, Director of State Bank of Pakistan was the chief guest of the event. He addressed the participants and emphasized the Role of entrepreneurial women in emerging economies.

During his speech, he also shared the initiative of the state bank regarding fixing the quota of women hiring in commercial banking. Delegates of HBL, ABL, JS Bank, BIC and Placement Bureau actively participated in this event. Overall this session was a worthwhile approach to awareness. Mr Muhammad Akbar assured that such kinds of events will be held at TUF in the future as well.
