An Oral Health Awareness Camp was organized at the Health Sciences Campus premises for class 4 category employees on November 21, 2019. During the campaign, dental and oral check-ups were offered by the Basic Dental Department, UMDC. The activity would help the employees in educating and raising awareness of oral hygienic problems for better care of their health. The campaign’s goal was to raise awareness of the correct way to clean teeth using the toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss, in addition to how to maintain good oral and dental health.

Millions of people around the globe continue to suffer from poor oral health and the growing burden of oral disease demands action on an individual, family and community level. Poor oral health extends far beyond the mouth, taking a serious toll on an individual’s overall health and well-being. However, TUF is confident that concerted, targeted action can curb the prevalence of oral disease and make oral health a personal priority for everyone.
