OBE Training Session Enhances Teaching Excellence at TUF

The Department of Computer Sciences, successfully conducted an 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐎𝐁𝐄) 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 for the Faculty of Information Technology. We were privileged to host 𝐃𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐛 𝐍𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐳 𝐋𝐨𝐝𝐡𝐢 (𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐣𝐚𝐛) as the resource person for this session. With his extensive expertise in OBE, curriculum design, and research methodologies, he delivered a highly 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠. A key highlight of the session was the 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞, where faculty members actively engaged in applying OBE concepts, enabling them to align teaching practices with measurable learning outcomes effectively. The training significantly enhanced the faculty’s understanding of 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕-𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒆𝒔, 𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔. The enthusiastic participation of attendees made the session a remarkable success.
