His Excellency Al Shaikh Al Syed Hashimuddin Al-Gillani from Baghdad (Iraq) visited The University of Faisalabad on December 23, 2019. Mian Muhammad Hanif (SI) Patron-in-Chief, TUF along with senior administration of TUF welcomed the visiting dignitary. After the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat Rasool Maqbool (SAW), Drood-o-Salam and Manaqib of Hazrat Ghaos-e-Azam (RA) were offered by Ms Ayesha Batool and students.

H.E Al Shaikh Al Syed Hashimuddin Al-Gillani while speaking to faculty members and students, shared his words of wisdom. He said that teachings of Hazrat Ghaos-e-Azam (RA) are a beacon of guidance for the Muslim Ummah. Islam encourages both men and women to learn and seek knowledge. He urged the students to respect their parents, teachers and devote themselves to their studies and serve the nation.

Prof Dr Shoukat Parvez Rector, TUF welcomed the honourable guest and appreciated his contributions for the prosperity of Islam. Muhammad Haider Amin, Chairman BoG in his address threw light on the importance of seeking knowledge for the progress of the nation. Special Prayer was offered for the stability of Pakistan and unity of Muslim Ummah. In the concluding session, honourable guest awarded distinction certificates to the students of University Medical & Dental College who secured top positions in professional examinations.
