ESTABLISHMENT OF CEL AND LAUNCHING OF FAISALABAD’S FIRST DIRECTORS’ TRAINING PROGRAM AT TUF

Center of Executives Learning (CEL), TUF was inaugurated by Mr Muhammad Ali, Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad on October 25, 2019. On the occasion, TUF also launched Faisalabad’s first Directors’ Training Program. In the opening ceremony of 3 days training program, Mr Muhammad Ali, Deputy Commissioner was chief guest while Ms Zia Batool, Chairperson, Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) was guest of honour. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest, lauded the welfare services of Madinah Foundation in education and health sectors. Establishment of modern institutions like The University of Faisalabad and Madinah Teaching Hospital are philanthropist models, he added. Earlier, in his opening remarks Muhammad Haider Amin, Chairman BoG, TUF threw light on objectives of the program. He told that program would help to gain an overview of the knowledge and competencies expected from directors in today’s environment. Ms Zia Batool, in her address appreciated the efforts of University management for the cause of professional education in Pakistan. Mian Muhammad Hanif (SI), Patron in Chief and Prof Dr Muhammad Saeed, Pro Rector, TUF were also present on the occasion. Chairmen of Boards and Trusts, Chief Executive Officers and Directors from different organizations participated in this program. Training program was facilitated by Prof Dr Mubashar Nadeem on ‘Executive Communication Skills at Board Levels’ while Javed Iqbal Sheikh, Session Judge, delivered motivational talk on ‘Principles of Good Governance’. The closing ceremony of program will be held on 27th October.
