Basic Life Support

Basic Life Support (BLS) workshop was conducted by Rescue 1122 in The University of Faisalabad on 12th May, 2022. Respected Sir Muzamil along with other officers conducted this workshop in which students learned about the PLSP program which educates about two major threats of life in Pakistan, CPR and bleeding control and its management. They took a pre-test before the education session and a post-test after. They helped students understand basic concepts to help save a person experiencing life threatening conditions. They demonstrated through videos and presentations. They also shared life experiences throughout the session of different experiences they had during giving services to Rescue 1122. They also practically performed CPR and allowed students to learn CPR by live practice. They also encouraged students to not only keep this information to themselves but also educate people around them to help save people's lives by knowing general techniques. At the end Coordinator Optometry Department Dr. Ayesha Kiran paid regards to them for coming and educating students and handed over them Certifications.
