Youm-e-Tashakur & Patriotic Seminar “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos” at TUF: Honoring the Valor of Pakistan Armed Forces

TUF hosted a stirring patriotic seminar titled “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos” to honor the Operation Banyan-ul-Marsoos and to pay tribute to the unmatched bravery of the Pakistan Armed Forces. The event was a powerful expression of national pride, unity, and deep appreciation for the defenders of the homeland. The participants, including students, faculty, and staff, gathered to commemorate the vital role of the Pakistan Army in ensuring national security and peace. The seminar revolved around Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, a symbol of strength and resilience against external threats.

The event began with a flag-hoisting ceremony, igniting a wave of patriotism among attendees. Major (Retd) Abid Hussain, Chief Security Officer (CSO), presented impactful visuals, including video clips and a documentary that showcased the Army’s strategic responses and the defeat of adversarial efforts such as India’s so-called Operation Sindoor. In her address, Prof Dr Tahira Iqbal, Dean Faculty of Sciences, emphasized Pakistan’s peaceful intentions but reaffirmed the nation’s readiness to defend its sovereignty. She highlighted the strategic failures of hostile forces and the resilience of the Pakistan Army. Prof Dr Nailah Riaz, Head, Department of English Language & Literature, underscored the global implications of these events, including the devaluation of India’s Rafale jets, which highlighted Pakistan’s defense superiority.

Prof Dr Sami-ur-Rehman, Dean, Faculty of Law, offered a spiritually enriching perspective by delving into the Quranic concept of “Bunyan-ul-Marsoos”—a solid, united structure representing strength through unity. His remarks reflected the spiritual and moral foundations of national defense. Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector TUF, graced the seminar as Chief Guest. He commended the armed forces for their role in maintaining peace and stability and urged students to emulate the discipline, dedication, and resolve of the military in their academic and professional lives. The seminar concluded with a heartfelt salute to the soldiers, airmen, and all those who serve Pakistan with courage and sacrifice. The event not only honored the defenders of the nation but also inspired a renewed sense of patriotism and unity among the TUF community.
