World Vegan Day is celebrated by 5th semester of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics on November 1. The joys and benefits of veganism are advocated on this dedicated day, highlighting just how easy it is to opt plant-based diet.
Even though veganism calls for the rejection of all animal-based products, a plant-based diet is the best way to encourage this change; with thousands of delicious vegan recipes. Similarly, students of 5th Semester came up with innovative recipes of vegan sandwiches with the aim to motivate the community towards the consumption of vegetables that are much beneficial for health being packed with a wide variety of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and fibers.
