World Sight Day-2024

The Department of Optometry celebrated World Sight Day in alignment with the Global Lens of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB)! This year's theme, "Children, Love Your Eyes," resonates deeply with our mission to promote vision excellence and ensure eye health for all. Dr Faisal Rashid, Senior Optometrist at Services Hospital Lahore, shared his invaluable insights and expertise on preventive measures and effective treatment for eye care. The engaging interactive session was also a focus on children's eye health.

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically; Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3) and Quality Education (SDG 4). Let’s continue to prioritize eye care and spread awareness about the importance of healthy vision.
