Good Health and Well-being
In a dedicated effort to promote patient safety and health equity, The TUF Rehabilitation Society commemorated World Patient Safety Day 2025 on September 17th by reaching out to underprivileged communities in Faisalabad. This year’s global theme, "Safe care for every newborn and every child," served as the cornerstone for the society’s impactful initiative.
Volunteers from the society conducted first aid training sessions and distributed first aid kits, equipping community members with essential life-saving skills and resources. These activities not only raised awareness about patient safety but also empowered individuals to respond effectively to health emergencies—especially critical in underserved areas where access to immediate medical care may be limited.
This community outreach effort directly aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by addressing healthcare disparities and promoting equitable access to health education.
Through such meaningful interventions, The TUF Rehabilitation Society continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing public health outcomes and reducing preventable harm—particularly among vulnerable populations such as children and newborns.
