World Day of Social Justice 2026

The University of Faisalabad proudly commemorated the World Day of Social Justice by organizing a powerful and meaningful Social Justice Camp under the banner of the Psychology Society. The event aimed to raise awareness about critical social issues and promote equality, empathy, and empowerment among students and the wider community.

Students of BS Psychology from the 8th, 6th, and 5th semesters enthusiastically participated in the camp by setting up engaging and informative stalls. The topics covered included:

  • Body Positivity
  • Gender Expression
  • Social Media Toxicity
  • Self-Worth
  • Identity Issues

These stalls reflected the students’ creativity, awareness, and commitment to positive change, offering attendees thought-provoking discussions and interactive learning experiences. The camp was graced by the presence of Mr. Omer Farooq Qureshi, Manager Placement Bureau, who actively participated in the event. He appreciated the students’ thoughtful efforts and encouraged them to continue promoting social awareness and justice within their communities.

Special appreciation is extended to Ms. Mariam Farooq, Lecturer, Department of Psychology, and focal person of the event, for her guidance, dedication, and tireless efforts in making the Social Justice Camp impactful and inspiring, in collaboration with CCA. The Social Justice Camp was a remarkable initiative that highlighted the importance of social justice, equality, and empowerment. Through such meaningful activities, the Psychology Society and The University of Faisalabad continue to foster awareness, empathy, and positive social change.
