On 3rd May, 2024, Department of Design and Interiors organized a study trip to Town Crier Printing Press, Faisalabad, where the students gained exposure on of various aspects involved in production and operations management of printing and publishing media on an industrial scale. The purpose of this visit was to enhance the students’ knowledge and provide them with a proper understanding of the functioning of the printing techniques, processes etc.
The students learned the type of printing press used (offset, digital, etc.) and the steps involved in printing the project as well as in detail finishing processes like folding, cutting, binding, and packaging. They interacted with the employees there which gave them great insight into this creative domain.
