Department of Design & Interiors arranged a visit to IAPEX 2024 RIC Exhibition & Lok Virsa Museum on 1st March 2024, with an objective to engage students in multi-disciplinary excursion activity & giving them relevant exposure. IAPEX RIC offered enhanced exposure to new industry trends and developments in building materials & technologies & helped students’ network with potential customers and suppliers/contractors/developers/vendors. Students also attended projects display exhibition of their contemporaries & familiarized with informative insights & creative ideas of their own field.
At Lok Virsa Museum students engaged in wide range of cultural expressions, including traditional music, crafts, textiles, and artifacts representing various regions and ethnic groups of Pakistan & identified how to address, translate & manifest these cultural intangible factors through their discipline to create meaningful interior spaces.
