Unlocking the Synergistic Effects of Kinesio Taping in Physical Therapy

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, in collaboration with the TUF Rehabilitation Society, hosted a Hands-on Workshop titled "Unlocking the Synergistic Effects of Kinesio Taping in Physical Therapy" On October 25, 2024. The event featured Dr. Atif Dustgir, A distinguished Physical Therapist and expert in kinesiology, as the Guest Speaker. Dr. Dustgir began the session with an informative presentation on the principles of kinesio taping, discussing its therapeutic benefits and various applications in patient care. Participants engaged in a hands-on session, where they practiced different taping methods under Dr. Dustgir’s expert guidance. This interactive approach allowed attendees to refine their skills and gain confidence in applying these techniques in clinical settings. Overall, the workshop was a tremendous success, fostering professional growth and collaboration within the physical therapy community.
