TUF’s Y-IBP Seminar Unveils New Horizons to Help Empower Tomorrow's Banking Leaders

Placement Bureau of TUF organized a seminar titled ‘Young Islamic Banking Professionals Programs’ (Y-IBP) in Amin Campus on February 29, 2024. The event aimed to herald a new era in Islamic banking education and professional development.

Mr Omar Farooq Qureshi, Manager, Placement Bureau hosted the event gracefully. He expressed his enthusiasm for the Y-IBP program, stating, "Y-IBP represents a significant milestone in our commitment to preparing young professionals for the challenges and opportunities in Islamic banking. He added that “Through this program, we aim to provide TUFIANS with not only theoretical knowledge but also practical insights into the workings of the Islamic banking industry."

The Guest Speaker, Mr Waqas Kashif Bajwa, Chief Manager, SBP-BSC - State Bank, Faisalabad emphasized the importance of initiatives and said that programs such as Y-IBP play a pivotal role in nurturing talent and driving innovation in Islamic banking.

Ms Quratulain Bilal, Deputy Chief Manager State Bank, echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the need for collaboration between academia and industry to address the evolving needs of the Islamic banking sector.

Dr Aman Ulllah Malik, Director ORIC, respected the esteemed guests with honorary shields from The University of Faisalabad. He also commended the efforts of the Placement Bureau for organizing such impactful events. TUF is committed to preparing young professionals for Islamic banking challenges to provide its students with not only theoretical knowledge and practical familiarity but also job market awareness and employment opportunities.
