The opening ceremony was a spectacular display of energy, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship, with the esteemed chief guest, Ms Gulnaz Ara, an International Athlete of Pakistan, joining Prof Dr Amanullah Malik, Rector of TUF, and Dr Zahida Maqbool, Registrar of TUF. They were accompanied by faculty members and sports enthusiasts, all coming together to celebrate the spirit of competition.
Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector administered the oath to the teams and officially declared the Sports Gala open. Karate team welcomed the event with a thrilling display of their skillful moves. The Musical Society added to the excitement with a vibrant Punjabi performance, complete with colorful costumes.
From a grand march past to thrilling performances, the event set the stage for an action-packed series of games, including a Karate Demonstration, Gymnastic Performance, Tile Breaking Performance, Pumzy Performance, Cultural Performances, Tug of War, Handball, Throwball, and Table Tennis. The first round of activities took place on the opening day of the TUF Sports Gala 2025, setting the stage for an exciting competition.
