TUF Signs MOUs with Four Leading Universities in Bangladesh to Boost Global Collaboration

Under the patronage and support of the OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH), and as active members of the COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence (CCOE), The University of Faisalabad (TUF) and Green International University (GIU), Lahore, marked a significant milestone in international academic collaboration by signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with four prestigious universities from Bangladesh on June 18, 2025. The signing ceremony took place at the COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad. Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH, witnessed the occasion.

Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector, TUF had meetings with following Vice Chancellors and signed MoUs with the Bangladeshi universities:

Prof Dr Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor, North South University

Prof Dr MD Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University

Prof Dr Qumrul Ahsan, Vice Chancellor of University of Asia Pacific

Prof Dr Mohammad Ali Azadi, Vice Chancellor of International Islamic University Chittagong.

These MoUs aim to develop strategic collaboration in key academic and research areas, including joint research and publications, faculty and student exchange programs, development of dual degree and twinning programs, organization of joint seminars, workshops, and conferences, as well as the exchange of educational resources and academic expertise.

All participating universities expressed enthusiasm for mutual cooperation and a shared commitment to elevating standards of higher education and research excellence across the OIC member states.
