TUF Renews MoU with DATH to Expand Drug Awareness Campaigns

TUF has taken a significant step in promoting a drug-free society by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH). This collaboration aims to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and encourage a healthier lifestyle among students, faculty, and the broader community.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at TUF, where Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector, TUF, and Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Director, DATH, formally signed the agreement. Mr Salman Hundal, Assistant Director, Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Faisalabad, was also present to witness the momentous occasion.

Speaking at the event, Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik emphasized TUF’s unwavering commitment to creating a drug-free campus and equipping students with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health. Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Director of DATH, acknowledged the vital role educational institutions play in combating drug abuse.

Mr Salman Hundal, Assistant Director of ANF, Faisalabad, commended TUF for taking a proactive approach to addressing the growing challenge of drug abuse among youth. He assured full support from the Anti-Narcotics Force in strengthening awareness campaigns and enforcement efforts. The collaboration with DATH and ANF marks a crucial milestone in the fight against substance abuse, paving the way for a safer and healthier society.
