Art Fiesta Day 1 at TUF Amin Campus kicked off with a burst of colors and enthusiasm on May 14th, 2024, as students enthusiastically showcased the rich cultural tapestry of our beloved country. The festivities commenced with the arrival of Ms Zahida Maqbool, Registrar, The University of Faisalabad, who, accompanied by Mr Muhammad Ali, Additional Registrar of TUF, ceremoniously cut the ribbon, officially inaugurating the event.

TUFians warmly welcomed guests, faculty members, and esteemed dignitaries, bedecked in traditional attire that represented the vibrant hues of Punjab, Sindh, Baluchistan, KPK, Gilgit, and Kashmir. Each department transformed into a cultural haven, showcasing the diverse heritage of Pakistan through folkloric displays and tantalizing desi cuisine.
Ms Zahid Maqbool was greeted with traditional souvenirs such as Ajrak, Gajra, Pagri, and Kafi. Overwhelmed by the students' meticulous preparations, she commended their talents, expressing admiration for the splendid display of culture and creativity. As the day progressed, excitement soared to new heights with captivating singing and drama competitions. Students captivated the audience with their talents, leaving an indelible mark on the memorable day.

Day 2 of the Art Fiesta was filled with awesome performances from the TUF Literary Society and Gosha-e-Zouq-e-Adab, making it a memorable day. First up, students from the TUF Literary Society competed for the title of best student with speeches in both English and Urdu. They shared their thoughts on topics like
" جومیں کہہ نہیں سكتا اسے میں فرض کرتا ہوں "
in Urdu and "Digital Gadgets and E-Waste" in English. The students showed great passion, and the audience loved hearing their insightful speeches. In the second part of the day, students from Gosha-e-Zouq-e-Adab competed in a fun game called Bait Baazi, which involved composing verses of Urdu poems. The competition had three rounds, and the TUF students enjoyed the poetic showdown.
Art Fiesta reached the Final Stage on its third day! On 16th May, TUFians celebrated the closing ceremony with students dressed in vibrant cultural attire, showcasing the beautiful colors of Pakistan.

The event kicked off with TUFians passionately singing the National Anthem. Our hosts then announced the first highlight of the day: the Oath Taking Ceremony for the newly elected presidents and general secretaries of TUF societies.
Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Director of ORIC, led the ceremony, and all the new leaders pledged to serve with integrity, respect, and dedication to TUF's legacy and success. Next up was the moment everyone had been waiting for: the announcement of the winners from the Art Fiesta Cultural Festival! Awards were given for best drama, singer, comedian, and artist, with each winner receiving a 10,000 PKR cash prize.
But that wasn't all! We also honored the Student of The Year and Advisor of the Year, adding more excitement to the day.

The grand finale of the evening was Qawwali Night. Under the stars, students enjoyed a night of soulful Sufi music. The campus glowed with fairy lights, and a grand stage set the scene. TUFians cheered as Ustaad Afzal Ali Khan and his team took the stage.
As the night went on, the music created a magical atmosphere of spiritual joy and cultural richness.
