Department of Islamic Studies and the Center for Collective Activities hosted a profoundly spiritual Mehfil-e-Milad in celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) on 8th September 2024. This sacred gathering served as a heartwarming reminder of the timeless teachings and enduring legacy of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W), whose life remains a beacon of guidance and inspiration for people across the world.
The Mehfil-e-Milad began with a beautiful recitation from the Holy Quran, setting a serene and reverent tone for the event. The attendees were moved by the soul-stirring recitations of Naats, hymns in praise of the Prophet (S.A.W), performed by students and special guests. Each recitation was filled with deep devotion, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere that echoed with love and reverence for the Holy Prophet (S.A.W).
In addition to the recitations, speakers reflected on the teachings of the Prophet (S.A.W) and their relevance in today’s world. They emphasized the importance of incorporating his values of kindness, compassion, humility, and justice into our everyday lives.
