The Department of International Relations at TUF successfully organized a thought-provoking seminar titled “Conflicts Among Muslim Countries”, aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics shaping inter-Muslim relations. The distinguished guest speaker, Prof Dr Ghulam Mustafa, Head, Department of International Relations, Government College University Faisalabad, delivered a comprehensive lecture on the historical and contemporary factors contributing to conflicts among Muslim nations. He explored key issues such as sectarian divides, geopolitical rivalries, historical grievances, and the impact of external interventions, providing students with a nuanced perspective on global Muslim unity.
The seminar concluded with an engaging interactive session, where students and faculty actively participated in discussions on conflict resolution strategies, the role of regional organizations, and the significance of youth engagement in promoting peace and cooperation. In his closing remarks, Mr Awais Sattar appreciated the insightful discourse led by Prof Dr Ghulam Mustafa and emphasized the importance of academic platforms in shaping informed global citizens.
