A seminar to commemorate the martyrdom of Hazrat Ameer Hamza (R.A) was organized by the Religious Society of TUF under the auspices of Department of Arabic & Islamic Studies in Saleem campus on 24th April. Ms Lubna Ameen, Lecturer Islamic Studies spoke at length about the life of Hazrat Hamza (R.A), the dearest uncle of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W), his acceptance of Islam and great services for the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). She threw light on the Battle of Uhud where Hazrat Hamza (RA) gave away his own life while defending Holy Prophet (S.A.W) demarcating one of the biggest sacrifices in the history of Islam.
The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) was deeply grieved at his martyrdom. Hazrat Hamza (R.A) was known as the “Lion of Allah and Rasool (S.A.W)”. His life gave us the lesson of love and obedience to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). He (R.A) would continue to be a beacon light for the Muslims for all times to come. The seminar culminated with Darood-o-Salam and Dua.
