Role of Pharmacist in counseling drug abuse patients

Visit to Rehabilitation center Faisalabad with reference to Pharmacist day for the counseling of drug abused patients. The awareness has been given to them about the effect of drugs abusing on their families and themselves. Moreover, drug addicts have been counseled related to the improving their quality of life, preventions to be taken from getting addicted again, negative impact on their health, environment and society and mandatory steps to prevent others from getting addicted.

This counseling session with drug addicts helped them in understanding some coping strategies to overcome their addiction in healthy ways and managing a meaningful drug-free life with their loved ones.
