Research Poster Exhibition

The Department of English Language and Literature, in collaboration with the Research Society at TUF Saleem Campus, successfully conducted a Research Poster Exhibition. Dr Syed Kazim Shah from GC University Faisalabad was invited as a chief guest. He assessed the posters and offered the students valuable insights and suggestions. The primary objective of this event was to encourage bachelor-level students with their research ideas and to facilitate discussions on trending topics, enlightening their minds.

The exhibition showcased the research projects related to various aspects of the English literature and linguistics, including discourse analysis and contemporary literary theories of criticism. Some of the students prepared their posters on the textual analysis of contemporary literary texts while some of them presented their analysis on movies. The exhibition had specific themes or focus within the broader fields of English language and linguistics such as; sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, language acquisition, and corpus linguistics. The session allowed for in-depth discussions, questions, and feedback from esteemed guest Dr Syed Kazim Shah other peers.

Attendees got the chance to network with presenters, exchange ideas, and potentially form collaborations or partnerships for future research projects. This exhibition provided a platform for researchers to share their findings, engage in scholarly discourse, and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field. The exhibition also provided a comprehensive overview of the rich and diverse field of English linguistics. Later on the awards were also presented to the position holders by Dr Kazim Shah and Dr Nailah Riaz.
