Renowned Islamic Scholar from Syria, Dr Abdul Aziz shares words of wisdom

Renowned Islamic Scholar from Syria Fazilat Al-Sheikh Dr Abdul Aziz, Al-Khatib Al-Hasani Al-Jillani visited The University of Faisalabad and addressed the faculty members and students in Saleem Auditorium.

Mr Hassan Rasheed, Trustee Madinah Foundation and Prof Dr Saif-ud-Din, Head Department of Anatomy were also present on the occasion.

Dr Abdu Aziz has served as Principal of International Islamic Institute, Damascus, Syria for more than 30 years. He wrote 90 books and His personality is an encyclopedia of the Holy Quran, Fiqh, Hadith, and Islamic history.

While addressing the students of Health Sciences in Saleem Auditorium, he focused on "How to serve Humanity as medical professionals". He idealized the Holy Prophet (SAW) as the greatest role model for all of us. "Allah selects a few people to serve humanity, and you are those who got this opportunity to serve humanity and will be rewarded by Allah” he further added. He cited references from Holy Quran and Hadith to highlight to importance of serving human beings without any discrimination. Prof Dr Saif-ud-Din and Mr Hassan Rasheed presented University memento to great Islamic scholar. The Program culminated with Drood-o-Salam and Dua.
