Ramadan Conclusion with Seminar & Milad at TUF Amin Campus

On the final day, two events were held to commemorate the importance of Shab-e-Qadr (the Night of Power) in the perspective of Nazool-e-Quran, and Milad Shareef. The beautiful ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Pak, as customary. Dr. Matloob (HOD, IS & Arabic) delivered the inaugural address, extending a warm welcome to the guests and emphasizing the significance of reciting the Holy Quran. He articulated that the words of the Quran deeply resonate with our hearts, guiding us towards righteous deeds.

 

Mr. Ibrahim Warraich (Chief Librarian, TUF) shared his insights on the importance of Shab-e-Qadr by reciting verse “ ,” underscoring that reading the Quran helps us in obeying Allah and following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAWW). Guest speaker, Dr. Yasin, graced the event with his presence, providing insightful analysis on the significance of Shab-e-Qadr in the context of Nazool-e-Quran. Dr. Yasin is Assistant Professor and Head of Academic Outreach and Islamic Philosophical Society. He delivered a thought provoking speech, highlighting the importance of knowledge with reference to the Quran. He elucidated that as the first verse from Allah discusses human anatomy thus the Quran not only encourages us to seek religious knowledge but also the scientific one.

 

Subsequently, the Mehfil-e-Milad commenced, and the podium was adorned by the soulful and melodious vocals of TUFians. With Durood and Salam, TUFians paid a heartfelt tribute to the Holy Prophet and his family through beautiful Naats. At the end, Professor Dr. Aman Ullah Malik (Director ORIC) shared his views on the events, commending the efforts of the TUF faculty, heads, and students in organizing such spiritually enriching events throughout Ramadan. The ceremony concluded with Salam and prayers.
