Orientation Week for Fall Intake 2025 at TUF – A Journey of Inspiration, Learning, and Celebration

The University of Faisalabad marked the beginning of a new academic journey with its Orientation Week 2025, held across Saleem, Amin, and Jinnah Campuses, welcoming fresh entrants from the Faculty of Medicine & Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Management Sciences, and Faculty of Information Technology.

The week-long program was designed to acquaint students with academic systems while immersing them in the vibrant culture, values, and opportunities that define life at TUF. Led by the Rector, Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Registrar, Dr Zahida Maqbool, along with all Deans and Heads of Departments, the orientation featured a series of powerful addresses, workshops, and interactive sessions.

Students were encouraged to approach their studies with discipline, creativity, and innovation, while also being reminded of the importance of research, resilience, and leadership in their personal and professional growth. Throughout the week, participants engaged in sessions on academic policies, communication and language skills, career pathways, clinical training, mental health and wellbeing, and emerging technologies.

Presentations by faculty and professionals offered valuable insights into TUF’s academic culture — enriched by advanced resources, expert mentorship, and a strong focus on holistic development. Alongside, students underwent LMS orientation, biometric enrollment, and library familiarization, ensuring a smooth transition into university systems.

Beyond academics, the week emphasized TUF’s vibrant co-curricular life. Fresh entrants interacted with student ambassadors, societies, and support services, while creative activities such as drama performances, music, cultural programs, and health screenings showcased the diverse opportunities awaiting them. A soulful Mehfil-e-Milad (S.A.W) was also held, filling the campus with spiritual reflections and creating an atmosphere of peace and reverence.

The highlight of Orientation Week was the Welcome Fiesta – Societies & Clubs Fun Fair & Sports Gala, which brought together students from all three campuses in a day of excitement and celebration. The Café Ground came alive with 15 society booths, each introducing freshers to avenues of creativity, leadership, and service. A festive atmosphere was created through food stalls, cultural performances, skits, and musical acts, immersing newcomers in the spirit of community and togetherness.

At the same time, the grounds also buzzed with energy as the Sports Gala unfolded. Students enthusiastically participated in mini challenges such as shooting, darts, puzzles, and ball-guessing, while the Fast Fitness Challenge (Plank Contest) tested their endurance and determination. The activities fostered teamwork, joy, and bonding, giving freshers a memorable introduction to campus life.

The grand finale perfectly captured the spirit of Orientation Week 2025 — a blend of academic readiness, cultural enrichment, fitness, and social engagement. For the new entrants, it was more than an introduction; it was the beginning of a transformative journey at TUF, where dreams turn into achievements and aspirations find their true direction.
