ORIC Launches Weekly PhD Faculty Presentation Series at TUF

The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at TUF successfully launched the first session of its Weekly PhD Faculty Presentation Series. Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector TUF, and Dr Zahida Maqbool, Registrar, graced the session as the guests of honour who expressed their encouragement for promoting a vibrant, research-oriented academic environment.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Prof Dr Zahir Ahmad Zahir, Director ORIC, who also provided a comprehensive overview of ORIC’s ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening the research culture at TUF. This was followed by an insightful presentation by Ms Munazza Anwar, Assistant Director QEC, who elaborated on institutional ranking criteria and key parameters for faculty engagement.

This week, Faculty members from the National Business School showcased their academic achievements and research profiles, opening avenues for interdepartmental collaboration and interdisciplinary research development. The session concluded with closing remarks by Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector TUF, who appreciated the ORIC team for organizing this impactful session and encouraged faculty members to enhance collaborative research across departments.
