The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at The University of Faisalabad (TUF) held a highly engaging and informative session on August 20, 2024, titled “The Art of Writing and Publishing Quality Scientific Articles & Tips for Identifying Fake Journals.” The session, designed for faculty members and PhD scholars, aimed to enhance their skills in scientific writing and research publishing.
The university was privileged to welcome Prof. Dr. Rao Zahid Abbas, an esteemed expert in Parasitology and the Editor of the Pakistan Veterinary Journal, to lead this session. With his vast experience in academic publishing, Dr. Abbas provided invaluable insights into crafting quality scientific articles and navigating the complexities of publishing in high-impact journals. He also shed light on the growing issue of predatory or fake journals, equipping participants with essential tips on how to identify and avoid them.
