Myopia Awareness Week and Projects Display by the Department of Optometry

Myopia Awareness Week was celebrated with a vibrant Project Display by the Department of Optometry, TUF. Students showcased their groundbreaking projects in applied optometry and working models, exhibiting their finest work to date. Evaluators Dr Mutahir Shah, Dr Aamir Niazi, and Dr Muhammad Iqbal Javaid were thoroughly impressed by the student ingenuity and dedication. Dr Mutahir Shah commended the students, remarking, “Exceptional effort from both students and supervisors! The creativity and enthusiasm displayed are truly commendable.”

Dr Muhammad Iqbal Javaid lauded the students, stating, “Even 4th-semester students presented remarkable models”. Dr Aamir Niazi praised the faculty for their exceptional guidance and motivation of the students. The evaluators recognized the supervisors’ tireless efforts in nurturing the students to produce exceptional work. A cash prize was announced for the top 3 model position holders, adding to the fervor of the event!
