Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Member of the Senate of Pakistan, Visits TUF: Seminar on Gaza Crisis and the Role of Youth in Advocating for Justice

The Law & Mooting Society of The University of Faisalabad, under the dynamic supervision of Prof Dr Sami-Ur-Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Law, organized a highly impactful seminar titled “Gaza Crisis and the Role of Youth in Advocating for Justice”. The event took place in the university auditorium and attracted a large audience of students, faculty members, and legal scholars, reflecting the strong concern and empathy within the TUF community for global humanitarian issues.

The seminar was graced by Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, a respected Member of the Senate of Pakistan, as the esteemed chief guest. In his keynote address, Senator Khan passionately discussed the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, highlighting the grave violations of international law and human rights being committed. He condemned the silence of global powers and stressed the moral and legal responsibility of the international community to intervene against the atrocities being carried out in occupied Palestine.

Emphasizing the power of youth in shaping public opinion and mobilizing global consciousness, Senator Khan encouraged students to become vocal advocates for justice and peace. “You are the ambassadors of justice and peace. Use your voice to speak for those who are voiceless,” he remarked, calling for a digital resistance against oppression. He called upon the youth to stand as unwavering supporters of Gaza and Al-Quds, raising their voices in defense of human dignity and international justice.

Prof Dr Sami-Ur-Rahman, in his closing remarks, appreciated Senator Khan's insightful and thought-provoking address and reiterated the responsibility of academic institutions in instilling global awareness and moral responsibility among students. The seminar concluded with an engaging Q&A session where students actively participated, asking critical questions and expressing their concerns about the situation in Gaza.
