Department of Islamic Studies, in collaboration with the Department of Urdu, TUF organized a profoundly enriching and spiritually elevating Mushaira titled “Manaqib in Tribute to Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A)” in Amin Campus on February 18, 2026.
The Chief Guest, Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, delivered an intellectually compelling and eloquent discourse on the exemplary Seerah of Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A), illuminating her unparalleled spiritual stature, moral excellence and timeless legacy. He further enriched the audience with insightful reflections on the virtues and blessings of the sacred month of Ramadan.
The Mushaira that followed was adorned by the scholarly and poetic contributions of Prof Dr Tahir Saddiqi, Syed Asad Naqvi Bukhari and Qasim Saeed, whose refined and devotional verses resonated deeply with the audience. The guest of honor, Prof Dr Riaz Majeed, an eminent contemporary poet, concluded the session with an erudite address. The event culminated with a collective prayer, leaving hearts illuminated with reverence and inspiration.
