The Department of Optometry organized a workshop on Basic Life Support under the supervision of Rescue 1122 Disaster Management Muzammil Hussain.
In this Workshop students of 8th semester learned important skills on how to increase the survival rate of victims. The purpose of this Workshop is to make students skill full, to teach how to properly manage critical medical emergencies, such as cardiac arrest and obstructed airways.
Students practically learnt CPR how provide to anyone who is experiencing cardiac arrest, respiratory distress or an obstructed airway and also learnt bleeding Control methods.
