Kashmir Solidarity Day

“Kashmir Solidarity Day” was observed in The University of Faisalabad. Event was conducted to express solidarity and support for Kashmiri brethren for their right of self-determination.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof (Meritorious) Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, Rector TUF urged the international community, UN and human right activists to take notice of the grave human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir.

He advised the students to contribute in their best capacity to showcase the situation of occupied Kashmir in the eyes of world. Kashmiri Muslims keep high hopes with Pakistanis and we must not let them down. Ms Zahida Maqbool, Additional Registrar, other Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff and students were gathered to record their protest against the atrocities by Indian forces on innocent people of Kashmir. Through their act performance, speeches and songs, students paid rich tribute to the martyred Kashmiris who had laid down their lives for freedom.
