The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences recently organized a vibrant and insightful intra-departmental poster and model competition, featuring enthusiastic participation from both 6th and 8th semester students of DPT.
Divided into eight groups, they presented visually engaging posters and confidently defended their research findings, demonstrating strong conceptual understanding and communication skills. Students also focused on Parkinson’s disease, presenting innovative models, informative posters, and interactive presentations covering key aspects such as awareness, symptoms, causes, treatment options, and rehabilitation strategies. The event provided a dynamic platform for all participants to apply their academic learning, improve public speaking, and engage in critical thinking.
Esteemed faculty members Dr Arshad Shahzad Hassan, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department; Mr Hanan Iftikhar, Head of International Programs; and Dr Maryam Zafar, Head of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences graced the occasion as judges. They evaluated the presentations thoroughly and offered encouraging feedback and positive remarks, commending the students for their efforts, creativity, and professionalism. The event was a resounding success, promoting research culture, interdisciplinary learning, and student confidence within the department.
